中國傳統故事：善良人躲過灾难（Enlish）

北宋京城汴梁，在沒有被金兵攻陷的時候。 有一個外地來的士人，也就是讀書人，在汴梁的太學中讀書求學。他每天沒事的時候，就喜歡到茶館裏喝茶。一天，忽然來了一個道士，到茶館裏來化緣。這位道人化緣時，從來不因別人施舍的多而高興，也不會因別人施舍的少而不滿。這天，士人正在茶館裡喝茶，因為他心地善良並信奉神佛，所以，每次道人來茶館時，他只要身上有余錢都盡量的施舍給他。

Chinese Traditional Story: The Kind Scholar Escaped The Disaster

This story took place before the Northern Song State was conquered by the Jin State. A scholar traveled a long distance to study at the college located in the capitol, Bian Liang. Whenever he had time, he went to a local tea house to relax. One day a Taoist came to the tea house and asked for alms. This Taoist was never unhappy if he was given few alms or overjoyed if people gave him more. The scholar was very kind and respectful of the gods. Whenever he had extra money, he gave it to others, and so he gave the Taoist alms. One day, the Taoist said, “You’ve given me alms every day, tomorrow can you give me a cup of tea?” So, the next day the scholar gave him a cup of tea.
